Our school council consists of eighteen representatives, two per class, who meet to discuss ways the school might be further improved. We have two meetings per term. The representatives ask their classes for ideas on how the school could be improved. These are then raised at meetings supported by Mrs Greensill and plans are made for them to be made into reality.
Our School councillors also represent our school at various events including the Canvey Schools Partnership School Council Conference.
Last summer, a child requested a toy sale to raise money for our “Forest School” project. The toys were sorted and sold by the school council. The money raised helped to purchase more wet weather clothing.
