Take up the reading challenge.

Take up the challenge and read  in some of the strangest places.

Don't forget to take a picture.

At Leigh Beck we recognise how important reading is and how it is a vital life skill.  The staff and children all enjoyed the exciting Canvey Reads activities held in school last week and Superhero dress up day ended the week magnificently.

We are continuing to develop the children’s love of reading in various ways.

During half term, the teachers were set a challenge – who could read in the most unusual place.  There were many different locations used and some very unusual!  They are now displayed in the school.

We are now inviting the children to rise to this challenge and take a photo of themselves reading in an unusual place.  We would like the children to send in their photos as soon as possible but no later than Thursday 30th March.  There will be a prize for the most unusual reading place.

Good luck and Happy Reading!
