Safer Internet Day will take place on the 7th of February 2023, with celebrations and learning based around the theme ‘Want to talk about it? Making space for conversations about life online’. Coordinated in the UK by the UK Safer Internet Centre, the celebration sees thousands of organisations get involved to promote the safe, responsible and positive use of digital technology for children and young people.
Applications for a primary or junior school place starting September 2023 can be made between 7th November 2022 and 15th January 2023.
All applications received after 15th January 2023 will be treated as late and will only be processed after all on-time applications.
You are less likely to get a place at one of your preferred schools if you apply late.
If you like to arrange a visit please email admin@leighbeck-inf.essex.sch.uk to arrange a suitable time.
This short video may give you ideas about what to look for when applying.

On Tuesday 8th February we will be joining schools and youth organisations across the UK in celebrating Safer Internet Day 2022. Safer Internet Day is a global campaign to promote the safe and responsible use of technology, which calls on young people, parents, carers, teachers, social workers, law enforcement, companies, policymakers and more, to join together in helping to create a better Internet.
WE DID IT!
Reception teachers across our two schools would like to explain the curriculum and help you understand how your child will be taught in Reception.
We hope that you find them useful and if you have any questions please speak to your child's class teacher at the end of the school day.
Welcome Back. Here is a special message from Mrs Lane to everyone at Leigh Beck.
